Instructions on how to book appointments
Booking an Appointment: Appointments can be made by telephoning the practice, booking online, or visiting the practice in person.
Urgent Cases: Urgent cases will be given priority and seen on the same day where possible.
Longer consultations are available. Please advise reception if you require extra time when booking your appointment. If you need:
- An insurance medical
- Review of a complex health problem
- Counseling for emotional difficulties
- A second opinion about another doctor’s management
Pre-Consultation for Paperwork: A pre-consultation is required before completing any paperwork. Please ensure you bring all relevant letters and test results from other healthcare providers.
Arrival Time: Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to ensure a smooth check-in process.
DNA Policy
A minimum fee starting from $50 applies for missed appointments (DNA – Did Not Attend) and appointments cancelled with less than 2 hours’ notice.
Double appointments may incur a higher fee, starting from $100.
To avoid a cancellation fee, please notify reception at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Results Policy
At our practice, we are committed to ensuring that all patients receive their medical test results in a timely and confidential manner.
How Results Are Managed:
- Test results are not provided over the phone unless specifically arranged with your doctor.
- Results will only be discussed during a follow-up appointment with your doctor.
- If your results require urgent attention, you will be contacted directly by our team.
Booking a Follow-Up Appointment:
- It is your responsibility to book a follow-up appointment to discuss your results.
- Reception staff cannot interpret or provide test results over the phone.
Normal vs Abnormal Results:
- If your results are normal and no further action is required, you may not be contacted.
- If your results require further discussion or action, we will contact you to arrange an appointment.
Privacy and Confidentiality:
All results are handled in strict compliance with privacy laws.
