Please note as of 1st November, 2023, All workers compensation appointments must be paid in full on the day. You will be provided with a receipt at the time of payment to take to your employee/insurance company for claiming.

The majority of our services are still bulk-billed  for  the  following:

Children under 16 years of age
Patients with a current Health Care Card
Pension Card Holder
DVA Gold Card Holder

Unfortunately, due to the rising costs of staff wages, insurances, medical supplies and utilities, grouped with the fact that for many years, Medicare rebates have failed to keep up with the inflation and do not reflect the cost of delivering high-quality general practice services. The cost of running a practice has continued to rise annually. It is financially no longer possible to continue to provide high quality medical service whilst bulk billing all of our patients.

 

Appointments

When you book an appointment with us, you will receive an SMS from Health Engine to secure your appointment. Please follow the instructions in the message to confirm your booking and avoid having your appointment cancelled.

Consultation is by appointment. Urgent cases will be seen on the day of request and will always be given priority. Appointments can be made by telephoning the practice, booking online or by visiting the practice in person.

Longer consultations are available; please advise reception if you require extra time when booking your appointment. If you require an insurance medical, review of a complex health problem, counseling for emotional difficulties or a second opinion about someone else’s management, please book a longer appointment. This may involve a longer wait but your problem will get the attention it deserves. Please bring relevant letters and test results from other doctors.

Please note that a pre consultation is required before completing any paperwork.

DNA fees are $50.00 for single appointments and $100.00 for double appointments.

No Show and Cancellation of Appointment less than 2hours of notice 

Please notify reception well in advance (minimum 2hr prior) if you are unable to attend an appointment. Failure to attend will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
